There isn't much here because not much is known about SJSUARC's past.

The club was formed in 1929.

According to callbooks, SJSUARC had the callsign W6YL in 1951. The trustee at that time was Harry Engwicht who later became Pacific Division Director of the ARRL sometime in the 1960's. We're still searching for more information on the club call.
